I am grateful for the last six years at Perficient for many reasons. I learned so much as a Front-End Developer and as a consultant. One of the most significant things I learned is the true value of teamwork and what can be accomplished with a team of like minded people working towards one goal. I’ve never felt there is any real value in tearing others down, however before this experience I would focus on my own weaknesses far too much. I learned it’s best to focus on the strengths of others rather than my own weaknesses. I found that is one of my strengths is finding the sometimes hidden talents of others then helping them cultivate and develop those skills.
I am grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the brightest, most talented and diverse group of people I’ve ever known.
I am grateful
I am grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the brightest, most talented and diverse group of people I’ve ever known. Our deference’s were sometimes at odds, but it was though that conflict that we solved complex problems and delivered quality work. Being exposed to so many different perspectives and ways of thinking caused me listen and present arguments in a productive manner. There were even times I found that my idea was’t the best and had to let it go in order to succeed.
I will miss you all
I will miss the team I worked with for so many years. I will miss you all, except for Zach, he doesn’t have FaceBook and can’t comment to defend himself 😛
I am excited
I am excited to see what lays ahead for me. I am optimistic I’ll find another team work with and create great things with, but the team at Perficient will always hold a special place in my memories. Even Zach.
